The following four methods of punch maintenance are explained:

1. Pay attention to safety during maintenance, ensure correct locking, open the process to ensure the safety of maintenance personnel, and ensure that the sleeve is placed at the bottom of the stroke before brake maintenance. If this is done, there is no need to lock the sleeve.

2. Workshop environment control. A clean punch can enable operators or maintenance personnel to quickly find problems when they occur. For example, oil leakage, air leakage, fracture, etc. If the punch is clean, its location can be easily found.

3. Leave the electrical work to relevant professionals. Only qualified electrical technicians can maintain the electrical circuit of the gantry punch, but you can still check whether the bulb on the control panel of the punch is normal. Every shift should ensure that the bulb is working and correctly display the various operating conditions of the punch.

4. Make sure that the punch is in the balance position, and the punch with precise balance can work better, so it is better to check once a year. The pneumatic system is responsible for the operation of the pneumatic brake and balance system. It is necessary to check whether there is gas leakage, because the proper air pressure can affect the performance of the brake and balance system, and they control the stop time of the punch. Once problems occur, the operator and equipment will be in danger. In addition, all pneumatic systems have regulators, lubricators, and water reservoirs. The water accumulated in the gas pipeline should be drained every day.

The primary technical parameters of the punch should reflect the working capacity of the press, the scale range of the workpieces that can be processed, the relevant productivity and other goals.
